Dr. Whatmough received the B.Eng. (with 1st class Honors) from Lancaster University, the M.Sc. (with distinction) from Bristol University, and the Ph.D. from University College London, all in the U.K.  In 2005 he joined Philips/NXP Research Labs, U.K., as a Research Scientist in the Wireless Research Group. In 2008, he joined the Silicon Research department at ARM Ltd., U.K.  In 2015, he joined Harvard University.  His research interests in low-power embedded computing span a variety of topics from algorithms down to circuits.
