Alexander R. Hankin

Dr. Hankin is a Postdoctoral Fellow whose research interests revolve around modeling, analysis, and optimization of next generation computing systems and technologies. He currently works in the areas of embedded non-volatile memories, thermal hotspots, and ion-trap quantum computers. Prior to joining the group in February 2022, Dr. Hankin received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, Medford, MA, USA. During his Ph.D., he completed research internships at Google and Intel. Prior to his Ph.D., he received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.S. in Computer Engineering—also from Tufts University—in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
